Dr Matthew Thomas is one of Australia’s leading scientists in the field of Human Factors and safety management in high risk work environments. For over a decade he has provided expert advice and Human Factors solutions to airlines, the road and rail industry, healthcare, mining, utilities, construction and defence.

 

He holds a range of leadership positions in the Human Factors discipline internationally. These positions include:

> Member of Australian Advisory Board of the Flight Safety Foundation

> Chair of Council of the Australian Patient Safety Foundation
